FINANCIAL ANALYST (Full-time)

  Job Description:
Currently seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for supporting decision making throughout the company by providing analysis of past performance, current markets, and future expectations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create financial models and profitability analyses, and provide other ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to support business leadership
  • Produce executive management reports on the consolidated business financial results and operational updates
  • Support monthly forecasting process and generate actual vs. budget status reports, explanation of variances, and forecasted expenses
  • Proactively participate in key analysis and continuous improvement efforts across all areas of the business
  • Assist management team in the analysis of new capital investment proposals using cost/benefit analysis, cash flow modeling, scenario analysis and financial forecasts
  • Participate in budgeting and financial planning processes (Spending Control, Overhead rates, etc.)
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials
  Qualifications /

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or a related field

  Position:
INSIDE SALES - MECHANICAL/INDUSTRIAL (Full-time)

  Position:
PRODUCT ENGINEER (Full-time) 
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM
  Job Description:
Product Engineers at PowerRail work directly with the production staff to create and improve locomotive parts for the rail industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create and maintain product part numbers and bill of materials in company database (Infor CSI/Syteline ERP system)
  • Develop detailed parametric models, assemblies, two-dimensional drawings, and renderings using Solidworks CAD software
  • Establish and maintain product design and drawing revisions
  • Review and analyze product specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data affecting component product designs, procedures and instructions to be followed
  • Aid in the identification and implementation of solutions to improve production efficiency
  • Coordinate with other engineers, as well as production, quality, sales, purchasing and marketing staff  
  • Aid in sourcing and verification of new products and prototypes
  • Establish product cost reports
  • Provide technical support to the quality assurance team
  Qualifications /
  Requirements:
  • Proficient in creating parametric models, assemblies and two-dimensional drawings using Solidworks CAD software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as basic understanding of ERP software systems. Infor CSI/Syteline experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T
  • Manufacturing (welding, machining, forming) and CMM experience is a PLUS

Currently seeking a reliable and passionate person to assist in busy Accounts Payable department. This position will report to the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain all Accounts Payable files to include scanning/filing invoices in designated areas and updating vendor information in computer system
  • Match purchase orders with vendor invoices to assure accuracy and prepare for computer entry on a daily basis
  • Mail Accounts Payable checks with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Monitor all paperwork, invoices, correspondence and verbal communication with vendors
  • Research and respond to all Accounts Payable inquiries in a prompt manner

Seeking a full-time Electrical Assembler to work in fast paced production line-type environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements or assembly instructions  
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications
  • Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
  • Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers
  • Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and/or cloths
  • Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments
  • Fabricate or form parts, coils, or structures according to specifications using drills, calipers, cutters, or saws
  • Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems
  • Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation, and record results
  • Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified
  • Measure and adjust voltages to specified values to determine operational accuracy of instruments
  • Complete, review, and maintain production, time, and component waste reports
  • Distribute materials, supplies, or subassemblies to work areas
  • Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport to storage areas using hoists or hand trucks

Seeking a full-time MIG Welder/Metal Fabricator for high volume Machine Shop. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools  
  • Tack-weld fitted parts together
  • Remove high spots and cut bevels using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches
  • Hammer, chip, and grind workpieces to cut, bend, and straighten metal

QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR - METAL FABRICATION

Busy manufacturer and distributor of locomotive parts seeks associate for quality assurance role to perform inspection of manufactured and remanufactured goods. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform inspections of in-process, finished, or incoming products using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Document inspected products or materials in company database
  • Responsible for the calibration of devices and gauges utilized in inspection of products and materials 
  • Perform routine maintenance of equipment, as needed
  Qualifications / 
  Requirements:
  • Understanding of manufactured drawings and GD&T
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in ERP Systems and QA Inspections
  • Experience using and calibrating measuring devices
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated and have good work ethic

INVENTORY CONTROL/RECEIVING CLERK (Full-time)
Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM to 5:30PM 
  Job Description:
Busy Distribution Center seeks associate to oversee the flow of incoming goods and cross-train in all aspects of distribution, including receiving items into inventory, both physically and electronically. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments and paperwork for discrepancies/damages and reports issues promptly to appropriate staff member
  • Perform data entry of pertinent information in the database for inventory control purposes
  • Stores materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and stacking by hand, or safely using material handling equipment
  • Sign for incoming deliveries and unload delivery trailers/trucks by hand or with material handling equipment, as needed
  • Maintain a neat and orderly workplace at all times to include moving pallets, sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris
  • Follow safety procedures in accordance with approved training and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately
  Qualifications / 
  Requirements: 
  • Computerized inventory system requires basic computer skills
  • Computerized inventory system requires proficient computer skills, forklift/walkie experience a plus. 
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.

  Job Description:

Seeking a full-time Sandblast Technician for our busy locomotive repair shop. We are a fast-growing business and need someone who can grow with us. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organize and plan the use of blasting equipment and material for various projects
  • Ensure that blasting equipment is properly maintained and in a ready state of operation
  • Prepare surfaces for sandblasting by cleaning and masking, if needed
  • Sandblast, prep and sand locomotive components, chassis, and equipment for painting
  • Examine and measure finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Ensure safety measures are followed at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
  • Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
  Qualifications /
  Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to operate a forklift or obtain a forklift license
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
  • Previous sandblasting experience or training
